Philippe Wassenberg is an interdisciplinary designer based in Dessau and Leipzig, working across graphic design, type design, photography and illustration. His work is grounded in visual communication and shaped by a strong interest in how design conveys meaning, evokes emotion, and creates clarity.

With a background in photography and a growing focus on type design, he develops thoughtful, image-driven solutions that are both precise and context-sensitive. He is currently studying Integrated Design in Dessau and specializes in type design at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB).

His approach combines visual sensitivity with an open, cross-disciplinary mindset. By drawing from different fields and formats, he responds flexibly to each project’s unique requirements. His process is exploratory and concept-driven, always aiming to connect content with form in a way that informs, engages, and resonates.
